D.A. Blodgett for Children is a United Way partner agency. Your United Way donation helps us continue our programs!

In 1917, the Agency became a charter member of the Federation of Social Agencies in Grand Rapids, which developed into the Community Chest, and is now the Heart of West Michigan United Way.

In 1965, The Agency piloted the Big Brothers Program at the request of United Way, and in 1974, the Big Sister Program was formed by United Way invitation.

In 2007, The United Way provides partial funding to four program services offered to the community by D.A Blodgett for Children.
