Families Waiting to Adopt
Jason and Sandy
Dear Birth Family,

We (Jason and Sandy) can’t even begin to imagine what courage and strength it takes to consider adoption for your child. It is the greatest gift you can give to another; to give the capabilities to a couple that have the desire to be parents but cannot on their own. We can truly vouch for that, since our son Jaren is adopted and has been the most precious gift we have ever received. We consider ourselves truly blessed to be his parents.
We have been happily married for seven years now. There have been an overwhelming number of wonderful changes throughout the years. Our biggest and most welcomed change was Jaren coming into our lives. Some others have been new additions to the extended family, new friends made, new hobbies and interests developed, new careers found, and an appreciation for life and what it brings. But that’s not saying we haven’t had our trials, such as when Sandy had cancer only a year after we were married. It was an unexpected twist of fate and then having to adjust to the fact that we could not have children of our own as a result of the cancer. Back then it was a lot to handle but we stood together and conquered all. Now Sandy has had a clean bill of health for years, our marriage is stronger than ever, and the fact that we do not have biological children matters not at all. Jaren is our child in every way, as well as a very special kid because he had two sets of parents. Biological parents that if not for them, he wouldn’t be here and us, his adoptive parents, that love him unconditionally and will be there for him always.
Our family is full of I love yous, hugs and kisses, fun, laughter, joy, and happiness. Yes, there are those times it may be a little grim, but we manage to support and cherish each other, what we have and what may come in the future so we may always come out ahead. We have lots to share with another child and have a very special place in our hearts really to be filled by him or her.
There really are no words to explain what it means to us that you would even consider us. If chosen to be parents to your child, we promise you he or she will be welcomed into this family with open arms and loved as our own. When thinking about such a miraculous gift, thank you doesn’t even begin to express our gratitude to you for the opportunity to be new parents once again.
Sincerely,
Jason and Sandy
