Dear Birth Family,

We are Matt and Laura. Together with our son, Zachary, we want you to know how much we appreciate the decision you are making. We have been praying a long time for a chance to grow our family. We know that your decision to make an adoption plan may very well be the answer to that prayer. Although this time must be difficult, we want to provide you with the reassurance that your child will be entering into a family who is completely devoted to your child’s health and happiness.

Laura and I, our son Zach, three grand-parents, seven aunts and uncles, their spouses, 23 nephews and nieces, and dozens of loving friends and their children are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a special child into our family. Married for 14 years, Laura and I are thankful for a loving, secure marriage. Best friends, we are committed to each other and our families. As parents we are eager to give our love unconditionally to your child as a member of our family.

Our son, Zach, was a blessing to us from the start. Later, after two miscarriages and several attempts at fertility, our hearts longing for another child brought us to the miracle of adoption. It has been a growing period in our lives and one that has allowed us to see miracles in the making through friends and family members’ experiences with adoption. Zachary has been included in all the adoption preparation and is excited about our adoption plans. He regularly checks in for updates and truly cannot wait to be a big brother. He is a kind, considerate, and compassionate soul and will be a loving brother to your child.
