D.A. Blodgett for Children is a non-profit children’s aid agency that largely relies on private contributions to provide for the medical, dental, and psychiatric needs of foster care children we place in the care of others. We also rely on private donations to help provide adult mentors to children from single parent families, adult mentors to children in need of support at school as well as funding support to provide services through:

• Infant Adoptions Programs\International Adoption
• Post Adoption Support Services
• Encouraging Family Foundations
• Home Based Counseling Programs
• School Based Outreach Services
• Pregnancy Support Services
• Sisters-In-Support
• Big Brothers Big Sisters Program

Businesses and foundations help the children at D.A. Blodgett with support of special needs, summer camp scholarships, medical supplies, mentors, volunteers, Christmas gifts for foster care children, and educational and independent living supplies for older youth.

Many companies will also match employee donations. Please check with your company to find out if they provide matching gifts for charity giving.
