School Based Mentoring

School Based VolunteeringThe Big Brothers Big Sisters School Based Mentoring program serves children between the ages of 5 and 15 at their local school.  These children, identified by school personnel, are considered likely to benefit from a one-on-one relationship with a mentor.  For some children, the focus will be academics; for others, there may be a wider range of activities.

School Based VolunteeringSchool Based volunteers are high school age and older and should commit to seeing a child for 45 minutes on a weekly basis.  Volunteers need a means of getting to the child’s school and may only see the child on school property.  Call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 451-2021 or visit our homepage at www.dablodgett.org to learn more.
