The Agency received 105 inquiries about the adoption search process: ● 31 inquirers requested search support services: 8 searches resulted in reunions 11 inquirers were provided with Confidential Intermediary Services approved by the Circuit Court’s Family Division which resulted in 8 confidential reunions

With the assistance of D.A. Blodgett for Children Adoption Search staff, Steve Flaig and his birth mom Christine Tallady were reunited in December 2007

One adoption search made national and international headlines when Steve Flaig found his birth mother. It turned out they worked for the same company and at the same location - Lowe’s Home Improvement in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
