Here are some individuals and organizations who have participated in our volunteer work days at D.A. Blodgett - St. John's.

Pink-shirted members of Cornerstone University’s Women’s Volleyball team taught St. John’s kids the fundamentals.

AT&T employees cleaned and painted at both campuses during United Way’s Day of Caring on September 10.

Gardeners worked well into the fall keeping St. John’s campus blooming.

These volunteers worked throughout the year to organize the annual KidsFirst Golf Outing held on June 7.

UPS volunteers cooked 35 hot breakfasts for St. John’s kids at the annual “Back-to-School Cafe” on September 7.

Five groups from Amway stuffed envelopes, painted, and spread wood chips at St. John’s Home.

St. John’s Guild members plan the annual Guild Ball. This year’s gala is scheduled for November 13 at Thousand Oaks Country Club.

Volunteers and staff worked together to make Family Visitation Rooms on the DAB campus more fun and welcoming.

Warner Norcross volunteers helped St. John’s kids earn trip money at a car wash. They also tended gardens and organized games.

Grace Gospel Fellowship helped prepare Cebelak House for its reopening.

Gordon Foods Service spruced up the gardens while co-workers painted.
A few camera-shy groups also contributed their time and talents. The Marilyn J. Olson Guild organized a backpack and school supply drive. The Polish Falcons Ladies Auxiliary donated school supplies and helped pack care bags and school backpacks for students. Rivertown Arbor cleaned and organized cupboards. Northview High School students cleaned vans and painted flower pots. Girl Scouts of Knapp Forest Elementary planted annuals. Zondervan Publishing cleaned and organized one of our garages. Grand Valley State University students cleaned vans.
